B O L D:::B A S I C S

As much as we travel (normally) and as laid back as we are, basics are the staple of both mine and Terrence's wardrobe. When you only travel with a carry-on, all of your clothes have to pair and mix and look flawless.  (Which is why this is not the first post you will see on the power and beauty of basics!)
The same goes for our mini-trips, and this last one to Austin in particular. It's hard for me to picture what look I am going to want to present on vacation, and in the spirit of packing light and looking polished, I always pack my staple, well-made, high-quality basic clothes that can be dressed up or down with a scarf or the right necklace.
Most importantly? Basics don't go out of style and will last as long as you care for them. (And that's why our closet is stacked with plain v-necks, crewnecks, jeans and sweaters.)
This is our basic take on Austin.
